The White Wood Set is the 12th armor set, and is the counterpart to the Black Root Set. Its pieces reduce Vitality and Armor in exchange for very high Focus. In fact, every piece of the White Wood set greatly increases Focus, a stat only found in significant amounts on the Scholar Set and the Kin Chest. The set is ideal for Magic Crit-focused caster and hybrid classes like Assassin, Bard, Mage and Valkyrie. As a glass cannon set, it pairs well with the Scholar Set for additional Focus and Random Magic Crit Chance, as well as the Leather Set for classes stacking relics below 100 Resolve.

The White Wood Cape provides the highest Intelligence value of any piece, in addition to being the only Cape to increase Focus. The White Wood Helm is the only helm in the game to increase Strength, and the White Wood Weapon is the only Weapon that increases Focus.

Uniquely, the White Wood Set's Level 100 Unity Bonus has powerful synergy with the Black Root Set only possible at Equipment Level +9. By wearing 2 pieces of White Wood and 2 pieces of Black Root, both sets' final Unity Bonuses increase your Dexterity and Focus by 20%. This is stronger than it seems as the stats themselves are increased by 20%, which are then further multiplied by Skill Crit Scaling values. This can double their effect or more depending on stat investment, effectively making you into a powerful Skill-Crit-based glass cannon using both weapons and spells.

It shares its Equipment Weight and upgrade costs with the Black Root Set as the highest in the game.
