Unique Chambers[]
The Athenaeum[]
This is a large room full of lecterns and writing desks containing Enoch's research notes on everything from Associative Agnosia to the Black Roots. Each entry is highly informative if you want to know more about the lore. By reading the entry titled, "PROPERTIES OF THE BLACK ROOT AND THEIR FUTURE APPLICATIONS", this will give you an Insight tasking you with defeating Void Beast Gongheads and Murmur to unlock Estuary Enoch's Boss Chamber.
Apart from this, there are always 3 doors in the middle of the room. The door on the right is always a relic room, and the door on the left is always a Black Root Tree Room, the only guaranteed room of that kind to spawn during a run.
The middle door leads to a library of dozens of writing desks, all but one of which say nothing. The one of interest is located near the bottom of the room and slightly to the right; this is the personal journal of Estuary Enoch and lets you complete the Journal Entries for the Stygian Study. After reading all available Journal Entries at this writing desk, you will obtain an Insight telling you to access Enoch's Observatory.
There is a secret room in this room as well, located just past a barrel on the far left end. After defeating Enoch, the room will contain a Scar.
Murmur's Study[]
This is a small vertical room with a teleporter and a portal to the Murmur fight. By reading the Memory here, the player obtains an Insight to find Pallas' Void Bell. After obtaining the Heirloom, the player can then dash through the Void Barriers here to access the portal. There are many destructible props here if the player is looking for food or potions.
Pallas' Heirloom Chamber[]
This room can appear more or less anywhere in the Study. It is a large room with multiple ledges on the far left wall, and several gaps in the floor with harmful Stygian Water beneath. The Heirloom Statue for Pallas' Void Bell is located behind a wall at the far right, with access to it blocked by seemingly impassable platforms. To reach the statue, make sure none of the platforms are active, then remain on the floor and Dash through the inactive platforms to bypass them.
Western Ramparts[]
This outdoor area is typically located far to the west in the biome, and primarily serves as the location of the Void Beast Gongheads fight. There is a teleporter at the entrance, with 3 Javelin Maidens and a Stavens guarding the entrance to the portal leading to the fight.
After defeating Lamech Prime, a Scar will appear in a hidden room located above the portal. To access it, jump up to the ledge where the Stavens was, then double jump up and use a spell or damage Talent on the Trick Wall there. You need at least 1 Vault
Enoch's Observatory[]
This area is typically located far to the east in the biome. It is a rampart leading to a seeming dead-end. Press Interact on the edge of the rampart, and a magical platform will appear. Walk through the Ash Clouds to reach Enoch's Observatory, containing Enoch's Memory as well as his telescope. Interact with the Memory to obtain the Boss Insight for Enoch.
After defeating Estuary Enoch Prime, there is a hidden room beneath the Observatory containing a Scar. While in the Observatory, press Interact to make sure the platforms are active inside the Observatory, then walk past the telescope and fall, landing on a hidden platform. Walk to the left to find a hidden entrance containing the Scar.
