Axis Mundi is the second biome in Rogue Legacy 2.
Gold Bonus[]
The player receives an additional +20% Gold Bonus while in Axis Mundi. This is explained in-game by reading the sign before crossing the water.

Boss[]
The Boss of this area is The Void Beasts of Axis Mundi.
Unique Chambers[]
The Tower[]
Informally known as The Tower, this area is located above Axis Mundi's teleporter room. The player must Dash and Spin Kick off the blue hanging lanterns to reach the entrance to The Tower. Within lie additional Journal Entries as well as the Heirloom Statue for Echo's Boots. Ascend The Tower by spin kicking off the Black Roots on the outside of the structure to the right. Certain Traits such as 
IIB Muscle Fibers or Talents like 
Ivy Canopy can also be used to reach the top.
Axis Mundi Mid-section[]
This is located exactly halfway through Axis Mundi. The entrance to Pizza Mundi is found here, as well as the entrance to The Sun Tower. The Nameless Knight can also be found sitting here on a ledge.
Pizza Mundi[]
The entrance to Pizza Mundi is located in the Axis Mundi Mid-section. Maria the Pizza Girl is first encountered here, who has the ability to permanently unlock teleporters for the player. Within Pizza Mundi is also a hidden entrance to a secret room that contains a Scar after defeating The Void Beasts.
The Gatehouse[]
This area is encountered just before entering Axis Mundi's final section which contains The Void Beasts' Boss Chamber. By using a spell or damage Talent on the Trick Wall above the large wheel, the player can access the Guard Room containing the Boss Insight for The Void Beasts.
After defeating The Void Beasts Prime, a Scar will appear on top of the gatehouse to the far right.
