The Ash is an enemy found in the Sun Tower. After a short windup, it attacks by blasting a fountain of fire and molten rock projectiles from its top.

Ash aren't particularly difficult to deal with alone, but become much more of a threat when supported by other enemies, and/or have the high ground. The fire fountain makes it so you can't just jump over the Ash, and the molten rocks are fired in a wide horizontal spread that then fall rapidly, similar to the axe spin attack used by Lamech.
The Ash cannot move while attacking and has low health. Get in close and dispatch it quickly.
There are 2 tougher versions of the Ash called Lava and Magma.
