The Ammonite Set is the fifth armor set. This set's stats and Unity Bonuses are excellent for obtaining high Armor totals. Every piece of gear in the Ammonite Set grants Armor, whereas with other sets Armor bonuses are only found on chest pieces.

All classes can benefit from this set well into NG+. Incredibly durable builds can be achieved by wearing both this set and the Obsidian Set, but classes that benefit the least from Vitality, such as Astromancer and Ronin, can do very well with just this set for defense.

Being one of the mid-game armor sets, it has moderate Equipment Weight and upgrade costs.
